My Voice is a private company whose Directors are Deborah Frith (Deb), Joel Jackson and the estate of the late Dr Robert Zoa Manga They combined their lived experience, multidisciplinary knowledge, and sector working experience with a shared vision for true access and equity, and a commitment to the international rights of people with disability. Deb and Rob established My Voice in 2011, providing a range of consultancy services to a number of NSW government agencies and the not for profit sector. These included the first successful pilots for self-managed funding for the Department of Ageing Disability and Home Care (ADHC), and the Lifetime Care and Support Scheme. These programs supported clients across the State to get ready for the transition to the NDIS through the creation of true person centred and co-designed plans. In 2017 My Voice became a registered NDIS provider. Joel joined and together we built a team of highly skilled and experienced disability practitioners. Our multi-disciplinary operations team is committed to delivering a comprehensive service embedded in clinical leadership and quality management. Staff expertise includes:
In 2019 My Voice opened our office in Alice Springs to meet the specific needs of Anangu (aka Arrernte) people with disability. Many people with disabilities in these communities had not had the opportunity to access disability support that met their complex needs in a culturally safe way. We have built a model of care co-designed with communities in the central desert that we continue to build on, as we learn from them the best ways to provide culturally safe services within a NDIS framework to the individuals and homeland communities we support. In 2021, we established support services in Lane Cove and in 2023 we opened an office and SIL accommodation in Willowvale near Mittagong. In 2026 we have now opened SIL | STA Apartments in Gosford available now.
