Short Term Respite Care

Short Term Respite
Respite care is a vital support service designed to give primary caregivers a temporary break while ensuring the person they support continues to receive high-quality care. Respite can be provided in the home, out in the community or in one of our dedicated respite homes. Whether it’s a weekend or a couple of weeks, depends on the individual needs. Respite care not only supports the wellbeing and independence of people with disabilities, but also helps caregivers rest, recharge, and maintain balance in their own lives, making it an essential part of sustainable, long-term care.

My Voice is a registered provider of high intensity support and respite services.
The NDIA has specific guidelines for accessing and using Short Term Respite.  Providers must be able to meet the requirements for service delivery.  See: NDIS guidelines on short term respite services
