These homes are designed to improve accessibility, safety, and independence.SDA focuses on the physical environment such as wider doorways, accessible bathrooms, assistive technology, or robust design features while SIL focuses on the support services you receive within the home.Not everyone is eligible for SDA, as it is funded under specific criteria, but for those who qualify, it can significantly enhance comfort, independence, and quality of life.
